My client is an established leading independent lighting company that have been in the industry for over 20 years, and they are based in North London.
The technical requirements of the role are to ensure that the on-going application, preparation and maintenance of lighting control systems and digital lighting is in line with Company objectives and client requirements.
Equipment and parts understanding and knowledge is required for the following:
• Lighting consoles, AVO/HI-END/GRANDMA/ DMX and Ethernet
• Networking products for data control and transfer
• Cable configuration and integrity knowledge
• Lighting products such as DL-2 and Media Servers
• Weekend work including loading and unloading of trucks as required
• Observance of Health and Safety requirements at all times
Additional responsibilities associated with the Deputy Team Leader role are as follows:
• Ensure the accurate checking in and out of equipment and re-placement to store.
• To ensure all prep and maintenance of lighting stock is carried out according to Company
standards and equipment is ready for hire at all times.
• Monitor stock movement by using Hire Track
• PAT testing – monitoring and carrying out as required.
• Client/crew liaison in respect of jobs – testing / fixing and clarification of requirements.
• Scheduling of prep work at weekends in Team Leader’s absence
• Strong liaison with the office & the ability to work through issues with the project team &
warehouse.
