CALIBRATION TEST TECHNICIAN - £18K - £24K - EAST SUSSEX

My client is a gas anaylisis specialists and are providers of reliable, accurate and stable gas measurement solutions to industries across the globe.

My client are currently seeking a an experienced calibration & test technician to add tot heir ever growing team.

To be based in East Sussex or Surrounding Area as this is a site based role.

Job Description:-

Principal Objectives:

1.

Inspection / Test / Calibration Carry out inspection / test and calibration as detailed in the companies procedures and any additional tests detailed in contract specific test procedures.
2.

Carry out witness inspections, where called for under specific contract requirements.

Deal with customers and their representatives in a competent and diplomatic manner.
3.

Plan and organise the test and calibration area with the varying work load.
4.

To liaise with Manager and Team Leader, arranging available resources in terms of materials, tooling, manpower and equipment.
5.

To ensure that all relevant equipment is correctly used and maintained in a serviceable condition.
6.

To maintain good housekeeping standards within the area and to comply with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
7.

To help train, motivate and develop members of the team.
8.

Produce and maintain all the necessary records relating to inspection, test and calibration.

Record defects as necessary.
9.

To aid production assembly where necessary or as directed by Team Leader / Manager
10.

Completion of regulatory training.

Proven experience of test and calibration within manufacturing environment
