The Company

This Company is a reputable main contractor who deliver bespoke projects across all sectors including Civil Engineering, Rail and Building.

The Role

The successful Design Manager will be manage all the drainage designs to ensure delivery of AFC designs in line with programme requirements.

They will also manage external drainage design suppliers / consultants, the design process and hold IDRs to ensure completion of DRA/CDM requirements and design change control.

Requirements

-Proven design management experience with a main contractor.

-Ideally previous experience within a railway environment.

-Strong background in drainage design engineering.

-Excellent Knowledge and understanding of drainage standards and appropriate legislation.

-Experience managing a small team as well as external sub-contract suppliers and
consultants.

-Preferred LUL Entry Permit and Track Accustomed Certification, if not this can be acquired on the job.

Remuneration

The successful Design Manager will receive:

-£37,000 - £51,000 Basic Salary
