The Role

The successful Workshop Manager (HGV Trailers) will have experience working on HGV Trailers and will support the line manager in the day-to-day operation of the workshop and facilities, scheduling workloads and maximising productivity.
You will prioritise HGV Trailer repairs and minimise trailer downtime by idientifying the most economical repair method.
You will ensure that all servicing and repairs, carried out either in the workshop or at the roadside are carried out to a high standard and meet all regulatory standards.
You will work with the Line Manager to manage staffing levels, overtime and parts are managed effectively and efficiently.
The successful Workshop Manager will come from a HGV Trailer background and be either a time served technician or possess City & Guilds Qualifications.

You will be well organised and have great communications skills.

The role would be ideal for someone with mangement experience or looking to take their first step into management.
