Requirements

Dedicated installation engineer trainee for the London area, to undertake installations, site surveys, service calls, planned maintenance visits and commissioning.

The majority of our work is carried out in London, therefore travel, long working hours and weekend work is required, as are nights staying away in hotel accommodation (please be advised these can become frequent during different periods of the year).

Responsibilities:

Assisting our Lead Engineers in delivering comprehensive installs.
Assisting in maintaining audio visual equipment.
Learning pre-install rack builds.
Running in cables and cutting ceiling speakers.
Carrying out daily / weekly tasks within the warehouse

Desirable Skills:

Enjoys early mornings as you will be required to get up early and travel to London.
Experience within the audio-visual industry is not required but construction site experience is, a willingness to learn, progress and develop themselves.
Additionally, candidates must have a technical interest, demonstrate a high attention to detail and are reliable.
Full driving licence is essential.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
IT and networking experience would be advantageous.
Would suit an individual who has excelled in design, technology, resistant materials, electronics or similar classes at school / college.
An interest in audio-visual products and technology would be advantageous
