Our client is looking to appoint a Chef de partie as soon as possible to take a key role in their hotel kitchen.

* hotel has award winning restaurants.

The Role

As a Chef de partie you will be involved in every section of the kitchen from the larder, sauces, mains and pastries within a team of 9 preparing exceptional cuisine.

This is the chance to work closely : and be inspired by : your head chef.

You can learn so much in this role and be inspired to achieve great heights in culinary excellence.

You will be working a 45hr week (on rota) including weekends.

Requirements - essential

City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery
BTEC HND in professional cookery
A foundation degree in culinary arts
Any health and safety and food hygiene courses
At least 3 years' experience working in a busy, successful kitchen
Experience of every section of the kitchen (larder, sauce, mains, pastry etc)

Key Skills

Great cooking skills
A cool head
An ability to delegate appropriately
Organisational flair
A grasp of profit margins
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
