Our Client is a London-based international solar energy development group, specialising in photovoltaic technology since 2006.

An opportunity has arisen for experienced and confident Project Managers with a proven track record in delivering energy projects through legal and planning development to join their team in London.

The successful candidates will help continue the growth and success our client has achieved over the past nine years in solar.

INTRODUCTION TO JOB

Help the company grow their energy business in the UK managing a small team in the development of gas to power and battery storage sites.

Specifically, we are looking for a driven individual who has expertise and experience in the development of energy projects
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to take ownership and manage the entire development cycle from opportunity identification to shovel ready.
The individual must be a creative problem-solver with an ability to combine technical and commercial knowledge.

PURPOSE OF ROLE / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of internal and external stakeholders (e.g.

DNO's, GNO's, suppliers, consultants and legal advisors) to create and maintain delivery programmes and handover to the construction team
Communication across teams and to project stakeholders ensuring expectations are managed
Ensuring programmes stay on plan, budget and meet target delivery dates
Responsible for many commercial aspects of the project including:
formulation of the development budget;
financial models to determine the economic benefits of specific gas + energy storage projects, taking into consideration various revenue sources, capex, opex, and other technical assumptions, negotiation on costs;
contractual arrangements
