2nd Line Support Engineer - 2nd Line - Citrix - VMware - Exchnage - IT Support Engineer - IT Technician - Troubleshooting - Onsite Support - Windows Server - Croydon - £25,000 - £29,000 + Company Benefits.


Are you an ambitious and talented IT Support Engineer - 2nd Line Support Engineer looking to develop your career in Technical Support? This is a great opportunity to join a team within a rapidly expanding managed service organisation.

Established nearly 20 years ago, they are a dynamic, fast-growing company and provide organisations with consultancy solutions and enterprise level, responsive and friendly IT support.


If you have proven 1st/2nd Technical Support experience, possess excellent communication skills, can work well under pressure and can commute to Croydon then this business wants to hear from you!


Responsibilities:




  • Call escalation


  • Logging, prioritisation and escalation of IT support issues and requests


  • 2nd Line Support Engineer tasked with troubleshooting 1st / 2nd line issues


  • Assist other Technicians with support issues where required and mentor 1st line support where necessary


  • Taking ownership of issues


  • Assist with specified maintenance and operational procedures


Skills:




  • 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Experience


  • Windows XP/7/8/10


  • Windows Server 2008R2 - 2016


  • VMware 6 - 6.5


  • Microsoft Office 2010 - 2016


  • Active Directory


  • Microsoft Exchange 2013 - 2016


  • Server and Network configuration and maintenance


  • Experience working with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and Citrix

  • LAN/WAN


Desirable Skills:




  • Windows Server 2008-2016 / VMWare Technology / Firewalls/ Anti-Virus


Qualifications:




  • Microsoft Certification - Windows Desktop and Server - Desirable
