Medical Account Manager (Agency/Communications/Pharma) - London

£40 to £50k

My client is a creative marketing consultancy, made for modern healthcare marketing and they are looking for a Snr Account Manager to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and coordinating global and local medical advisor engagements (advisory boards, speaker bureau, MSL insights, symposia etc) to achieve the global medical strategy
Manage internal and external teams and provide direct support to ensure medical advisor engagements are delivered on brief, on budget and on time.


Ensure client is kept up to date on account/project status and lead discussions on new/changed requirements and/or changes to budget and timings.
Responsible for day-to-day client contact and managing the relationship
Financial accountability
Contributes to strategy reviews on programmes in conjunction with Account Director and Senior Consultant
Understand the strategic and engagement planning outputs

Professional relations:
Build on existing client relationships and also identify and forge relationships with new clients
Proactively support the growth and development of other account handlers within the account team

Knowledge/expertise:
Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant codes of practice/legislation governing ethical advertising/media/web-based communication with healthcare professionals, patients and public
Keep abreast of clinical, regulatory and economic changes that impact your accounts and
