Registered Home Manager

Home Manager
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Up to £50,000 : Depending on experience
Permanent / Full Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client and require an experienced Home Manager to work within a care home in Chelmsford.

This large bedded home rated ?GOOD? by CQC provides exceptional care with a wide range of services for long or short stays.

It is committed to ensuring outstanding levels of person-centred care and offers comprehensive residential care to its elderly residents.
The Registered Manager will lead by example in delivering exceptional care to the home's residents, whilst at the same time, and with the support of the provider, ensuring the successful operational performance of the home.

Duties
Maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and other stakeholders, with a view to consistently achieving good occupancy levels within the home.
Management of recruitment, performance and development of staff
Ensuring quality standards throughout the home, meeting all fundamental regulatory requirements as set out by the Care Quality Commission.

Requirements:
Strong managerial or supervisory experience.
Level 5 qualification or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of budgets and maximising incomes.
Understanding of CQC requirements
An extensive knowledge of current statutory legislation and good practice principals
Ability to delegate and find solutions, prioritise workload for self and team on a daily basis.
Outstanding communication skills including interpersonal and customer care skills
