Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer - Portsmouth

Our client a dynamic company with a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, dealing with customers from the marine, industrial and commercial sectors.

They serve customers worldwide providing consultancy, bespoke design and installation, reactive service and repair, planned maintenance, refrigerant retrofitting and supply of spare parts.

Our client has over 50 years combined experience and a solid reputation within the industry.


We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with strong knowledge and experience in a wide variety of refrigeration and air-conditioning applications in the commercial, industrial and marine sectors including installation, repair, maintenance and fault finding/diagnosis.

Essential Criteria

Be qualified in refrigeration at minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent : essential
Be certified to C&G Category 1 F-Gas : essential
Hold a full clean driving licence and UK passport : essential
Be willing to work away from home/overseas, sometimes at short notice
Be presentable with good communication skills
Have the ability to use mobile phone app technology to log completed work

Desirable Criteria

5+ years in refrigeration
Marine Refrigeration
