Commercial Sales Director - Birmingham

Salary up to £55k + Commission + Car + Mobile + Laptop

The Client

Our client are a highly successful leading, cleaning and soft services management company.

They provide services to the commercial, industrial, public and private sectors nationwide.

The team and networks work extensively across the UK teaching individual businesses and national organisations.

The Role

This is a challenging and highly satisfying role as you will be playing a key part in successfully building and growing the company's business.



The priorities for this role are to:

Create a sales pipeline and secure new business
Identify and build relationships and networks that result in sales with key decision makers and budget holders
Work closely with the Managing Director to build a high level strategy and a detailed plan for targeting specific markets, organisations, networks and people
Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and working with team members and external partners (e.g.

telesales, marketing agencies, etc.) to convert identified opportunities into new business and promote the vision, values and philosophy of the company
Plan approaches, presentations and pitches based on the company's business offering and matching the client needs
Manage new customer relationships

Skills and Qualities Required:

A strong commercial background of sales across a breadth of sectors and industries
Able to look both strategically and operationally as a business, team and individual level
Capable of recognising and understanding the ?big picture? for both the customer and the company, the needs and success criteria for both organisations
Adept at applying their skills and competencies to new situations and making effective judgments
Have sustainable presence, gravitas and impact at meetings from first impression
Able to relate to people at all levels and build relationships accordingly
