What we expect:

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level, ideally with a Chemical Engineering or Chemistry background.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years sales experience preferably in the lubricant and refinery industry.
Candidates should be innovative, self-motivated and conscientious individuals, who are extremely customer-focused and have first class negotiation, decision making and communication skills.
Must be fluent in English, a second European language would be an advantage
A full UK driving licence is required.

This role will involve a significant amount of travel within the UK & Ireland.

European travel will be required from time to time.
Position can be home based.

What you can expect

As Sales Account Manager working in the UK Fuel and Lubricant Solutions Team, you will have responsibility for:
Sales negotiations including drafting contracts and preparing customer presentations.
Analysing the decision-making processes of your customer, manage and strengthen contacts at various levels within the respective customers, in order to develop sales.
You will develop business opportunities and potentials (incl.

cross selling with other business units) with a key focus on the lubricant and refinery industry at new and existing customers.
You will also propose and collaborate in joint projects, e.g.

development projects with customers, logistic concepts, etc.
You will use your market knowledge to identify and progress opportunities for the company.
