1st / 2nd LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER

1st / 2nd LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER - LONDON - CISCO, CCNA, WINDOWS SERVER, EXCHANGE, MS OFFICE 365, VMWARE. I am looking for an enthusiastic 1st- 2nd Line Support Engineer with MSP / IT services experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, use initiative / be pro-active, have excellent communication skills/telephone manner as well as the ability to work as part of a team to achieve great results.

My client, an Award Winning IT Solutions Company are looking for a lively and enthusiastic Support Engineer with a proactive “can do” attitude to work within a rapidly growing organisation.


Key skills



  • Windows Servers

  • VMware / VDI

  • Cisco Networking - Cisco ASA Firewalls, Switches, access point and router support

  • Networking - DNS, DHCP and GPO experience

  • CCNA - Advantageous

  • Exchange / Office 365 - Supporting exchange not just creating users/mailboxes / DL's

  • Backup technologies (Veeam desirable) - Able to review and resolve backups jobs/tasks

  • Must be able to work shift patterns Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 8 pm

  • Will be part of on-call rota which has a fixed shift payment plus overtime for any hours worked
