Our client for whom we have worked with on a variety of roles for their other properties, are looking to appoint a HEAD CHEF who has experience of cooking classic British dishes to a 2AA rosette standard in this upmarket boutique hotel.

This stunning property that is sat around 15 miles from Cambridge, has quickly become one of the best known places to, stay, eat and drink.



The hotel is independently owned and is part of a group of hotels with various UK locations.



The hotel has a loyal following but is looking for a Head Chef who can really tap into the needs of the local area.

The key is to produce well-seasoned, clean food without over complicating the food flavours.

You will also need to work closely with the GM and the MD to ensure that the menu's that you are producing really takes of with the locals and staying guests.



What my client is looking for:
? A chef who has either achieved rosettes in their own right or may have been a Sous Chef who had contributed in achieving / maintaining rosettes.


? An ambitious chef who has the ability to run and maintain a smooth operation
? A non ego-tiscal chef who has the maturity to ask for help when needed but can also use their own initiative.


? A chef with the experience of recruiting and retaining a strong team of chefs
? A love for producing food that is sought after by their patrons.
? Experience of working in a small property with high standards.


? An effective communicator who can delegate both upwards to their team

What is on offer?
? An immediate start available on a permanent or temp to perm basis
? A salary of up to £35,000 plus bonus
? The potential for short term live in if relocating (3/4 weeks)
? The opportunity to help create a new food vision for the property.
