My client is a community-based hospice service providing care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in north and central London.

Their expanded care provision will ensure that we are able to offer a complete hospice service for the 1,169 babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in our catchment area.

The Role

The purpose of this post is to lead on the management and delivery of Facilities Management Services for the Hospice.
The Head of Estate and Facilities in conjunction with the Senior Management Team will play a crucial role in setting and establishing the strategic direction for the estates and facilities for my client.

The role will provide leadership to the operational management functions for catering, housekeeping, maintenance and reception teams within the Hospice.
The role will be responsible for the implementation and compliance with the Hospice's health and safety policies and risk management arrangements as well as planning and delivering business continuity processes for the Hospice with a ?can do? and balanced attitude to the work.
The post holder will also lead the development of systems and processes to demonstrate the quality of the housekeeping service as evidence for Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other obligations we may have through our care contract.
