Maintenance Technician - London (NW)

Salary: £24,000 to £33,000 p.a.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:30pm

The Role:

Our Client's the UK's favourite lighting rental company is rapidly expanding and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Technician.

This role contributes to our client's reputation for excellence by ensuring that the electronic components and power distribution products provided are delivered on time, in the best of working order, and in line with the customers' expectations covering all health & safety requirements.
Are you passionate about Dimmers, Distros, Controls, Transformers and other exciting specialist lighting equipment?
You will play an essential part in your team and company success story by:

Demonstrating strong technical skills
? Testing and repairing mains distribution and other technical items, including PAT testing and RCD testing and logging the test data on the Company database.
? Repairing and maintaining all stock cables.
? Fault finding and assembly work in relation to electronic components
? Assisting other team members with power distribution, motor control, cabling, bespoke equipment and special projects.
? Preparing and maintaining intercom systems.
? Ensuring that Method Statements for working practices are kept up to date.
? Preparing and maintaining lighting equipment and Kinesis Motion Control Systems as and when required.

Communicating effectively
? Ensuring systems and documentation are accurately maintained
? Maintaining stock levels through liaison with other internal departments
? The ability to maintain records and to be able to spot trends in equipment failure.
? Providing technical support to colleagues, freelance crew and production crew

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
? In depth practical knowledge and minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
? City and Guilds Electrical qualification (2365)
