The Role:

The successful HGV Parts Supervisor will report to the Depot Manager and will be responsible for the daily operation of the Parts service to our client's customers and staff.

The post-holder must ensure effective communication is maintained with customers, other after-sales department members and have responsibility for ordering stock, increasing sales, and initiating terms of business with customers while maintaining agreed stock levels.

You will be responsible for the supervision of parts department, staff and workload, Interpreting customer needs and supplying goods as requested.

You will have responsibility for increasing parts sales and working to sales targets.

You will produce stock level reports and ensure stock levels are maintained and queries resolved, within agreed timescales.

You will order parts in line with operational needs and ensuring suppliers provide delivery in a timely manner, while checking incoming stock against delivery notes and store stock, updating computer with goods received.

You will advise customers about their parts requirements, and ensure that trading terms are adhered to, Invoice all parts supply in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring order numbers are obtained where needed.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisation skills, who is flexible and has experience of supervising a team.

You will have a good knowledge of HGV's and the automotive industry and Kerridge.

Monday - Friday 46.33 hours
8.00am - 17.30pm (inclusive of 30 minutes unpaid break) .
