Service Desk Coordinator

IT Support Coordinator - Helpdesk Coordinator - Service Desk Coordinator - IT Customer Service Coordinator - Technical Support Coordinator - IT Help Desk Coordinator - IT Customer Support Coordinator sought for expanding IT & Technology Service Provider / MSP based at their modern Bournemouth offices.

This new role pays a starting salary up to £22,000 per annum + excellent benefits and offers excellent career prospects.


I am seeking an IT Support Coordinator - Helpdesk Coordinator - Service Desk Coordinator - IT Customer Service Coordinator - Technical Support Coordinator - IT Help Desk Coordinator - IT Customer Support Coordinator who would be reporting directly to the Service Operations Manager and acting as the first point of contact for their clients and end-users service requests.

You will be working as part of a team but focusing on, logging all Service Desk tickets as they come in and allocating them so that you can attain maximum utilisation of technical resources and provide customer service satisfaction through daily dispatch of service requests.

This role does NOT require someone who is currently an IT Support Specialist but does require someone who has an understanding of general IT equipment i.e.

laptop/desktop systems, WAN/LAN connectivity and perhaps servers.



You need to have solid admin & organisational ability together with good Microsoft Office suite skills and an understanding of SLA's.

This is required as you will be collecting information from multiple touch points (telephone, email, remote monitoring tools), dispatching tickets and arranging time slots for engineers to carry out necessary work.

You also required to keep customers up to date and informed i.e.

calling or emailing to deliver status updates to end-users.

This is a varied role and also involves preparing and reporting management information on KPI reports and other information to ensure the smooth running of my client's IT Service Desk.

You will need to have come from a strong customer focused environment with a good understanding of Service level Agreements (SLA's) and seeking an IT career within a fast-paced environment.
