PROJECT MANAGER - JAVA

PROJECT MANAGER - Java, J2EE, Agile, Waterfall, JBoss, Scala, JAX-WS, J2EE JMS, JBPM - Belfast / Remote / Home-Working.

Can you deliver quality software products and services to time and target/budget? Can you align closely with Product Owner to produce functional requirements that are complete and sufficiently detailed? Can you work closely with Solution Architects to produce a detailed technical framework in advance of development commencing? If you can produce high level and low-level system design documentation based on defined requirements and user stories then this opportunity could be the right one for you.


Skills and Experience



  • Working in Agile / Waterfall software development processes.

  • Experience working on both bespoke software projects and product development

  • Scala

  • Developing and using Webservices.

  • JAX-WS, JDBC, EJB3, JMS

  • WebSphere / JBOSS / Weblogic / Netweaver Application Server

  • Oracle / SQL Server

  • PL/SQL / T-SQL

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline

  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability.

  • Hands-on experience managing the software development elements of an overall IT implementation project

  • Demonstrable technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge of significant technology or business processes

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to suggest technical solutions to problems where required
