Workshop Service Engineer

Workshop Service Engineer - Southampton

Salary - Very competitive

We have a vacancy for a Workshop based Service Engineer.

Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our client's hire fleet and customers' machines and carry out warranty work on agency products.

This is a permanent role, Monday-Friday, 42.5 hour per week with overtime available.

The role

You will work as part of a workshop team in a very busy and a changeable environment, whilst communicating well with our Parts, Hire and Sales department.

The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem solving skills.

We are agents for top brand equipment in an ever changing market and so, to deliver a very high standard to our customers, we will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.

Skills

You will need the following skills / abilities for the role of workshop fitter / service engineer:

? Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors' plant equipment
? Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
? Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential)
? Have a full clean driving license
? Have your own tools
? Work efficiently in a team
