Quality Inspector (Construction) - Woodford Green, London

The majority of these projects are delivered under Partnering arrangements with their Partner Clients who include, Councils, educational and health authorities.

The company operates from their main offices in Woodford Green, Essex, where there 400+ professional, administrative and operative staff are based.

The company is structured with a number of operational divisions supported by specialist departments including Resident Liaison, Procurement, Quality, Safety and Training, Design Coordination, M-Architecture, M&C Environmental Services (mechanical and electrical services), Plant, Transport and Stores.

The Role

Plan and carryout site quality inspections and compliance checks of recently completed and in progress building works.

Liaise with and advise the operational teams at site and in the head office regarding compliance with the employer's requirements and with specifications and related construction details regarding the works being undertaken.

Draw attention to areas of potential problems related to activities being undertaken

Ensure that works are being undertaken to the latest available information

Provide guidance on, and interpretation of, designer's details and regulatory requirements.

Maintain daily diary.
