IT 1st Line Support Engineer - IT Service Desk

Helpdesk Engineer - IT Service Desk Analyst - 1st Line Support Engineer - Network Support - Windows - SLA's- Call logging - Back-ups - up to £24,000 pa + Company Benefits required by an expanding Organisation based in Horley, Surrey


I am looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support / Helpdesk Support Analyst who can provide excellent IT and Network support to the business either via telephone, email or remotely


Key responsibilities for this Helpdesk Engineer - IT Service Desk Analyst



  • Provide Support and maintain to the IT Infrastructure

  • Answer Technical calls from customers and logs the calls in a call logging software

  • Maintain a backup log from daily backups

  • Maintain Software Licenses and Asset register


Key Skills



  • Helpdesk or Service Desk or 1st Line support and Network Support experience

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills



  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Fully conversant in the use of Excel, Outlook and Word

  • Must drive as some visits to Data Centres will be required


My client is an expanding software house based in Horley, Surrey who are looking to reward this 1st Line - IT Service Desk Analyst a salary of up to £24k + Bens and excellent career growth potential.

They are based close to Horley railway station and easily commutable from Crawley, Redhill, Reigate, Croydon etc


If you are a 1st Line Support Engineer - IT Service Desk Engineer who holds a driving Licence due to travelling to some Data Centres as and when required and have the skills above then I would like to hear from you.
