Service Van Technician

Service Van Technician - Haydock and Birkenhead Depots

Salary: Hourly rate between £13 - £14.

The Company

This company is largest independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the North West for all makes and types of commercial vehicles and LCVs.

It is dedicated to providing its wide ranging customer base with a one stop solution for all their transport & fleet requirements.

The Role

The company is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Service van Technician to work directly on customer's fleets.

You will be required to undertake all aspects of maintenance, routine servicing and mechanical inspections along with MOT preparation.

Welding and Auto Electrical experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Role Responsibilities:

? liaise with customers and work colleagues
? ensure maintenance, servicing and inspections are carried out efficiently and correctly.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

? detailed experience of commercial vehicles and trailers required
? industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level three) required

Hours: Monday - Friday, 47.5 hours per week; alternate Saturdays on a rota basis; Call outs on a rota basis
