Postal Administrator

? Position: Postal Administrator
? Department:Administration and Dispatch Team
? Reports to: Supervisor

Basic function:

? To undertake postal administration
? To liaise with internal departments and postal companies to provide postal support for completed mailings

Scope of work:

? Forecasting collections and consumables for daily/weekly and monthly mailings.
? Controlling Consumables usage.
? Preparation of all required documentation, including per notification and mail mark submission, for all completed mail in timely manner.

? Ensuring all mail completed within Personalisation department is dispatched on time as per job bags description.
? Assist Production and Client Service Team with providing details for dispatched mail.

(Providing postal reports like MHR daily report).
? Supporting Planning and Purchasing Administrator with job bag closure as and when required.

? Checking/inputting time sheets into Optimus/Access database.

Knowledge/educational requirements:

? Experience within a fast-paced environment.
? Experience using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Access.

Essential:

? Communication Skills
? Previous experience working within a risk control environment.
? Experience working to strict targets and deadline.

Specific information:

Flexibility is essential for this role : working 40 hours per week : including Saturdays.

Banked hours are in operation for this role.

Further information:

Start date wc 11th November.

Full training will be provided.

Rate of pay NMW + 50p/ph after successful training completion.

Usual shift patterns on 4 week roster are:

? 06:00-14:30
? 08:00-16:30
? 08:30-17:00
? 10:30-19:00

Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when and as required, depending on business needs.
