Senior Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Harwdare Design Engineer to join a company who are developing cutting edge technology which is really going to make a huge impact in the automotive industry.

You will have excellent experience of some of the following:

• FPGA and ASIC development.


• Bringing up complex PCBs from reference design to mass production.


• Embedded systems development; expert knowledge of microcontrollers, and communications and network interface protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and ethernet.
  
  


• Digital hardware design, especially designs with MCUs, FPGAs, high speed memory (SDRAM (DDR3) and mixed-signal ASICs.


• Board-level analogue electronics: power supplies, filters, references, sensors and optoelectronic components.


• Design for EMC.
  
  Testing experience and solutions for EMC.


• Experience of automotive test and validation procedures and evidence of troubleshooting in and finding rapid solutions.


• ‘Hands-on' electronics engineering, capable of testing/debugging with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc).
  
  


• Embedded C, C++, C#, MATLAB.
