Development & Alumnae Relationship Manager - Mayfield, East Sussex

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

The Company

Our client are a leading catholic independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 set in beautiful Sussex Countryside.

Their academic results are excellent combined with plentiful extra -curricular activities and exemplary pastoral care.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and innovative individual to support the Director of Development to deliver the School's Alumnae Engagement and Development Strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

The Development Office promotes lifelong relationships between the School and the wider community and supports the advancement of the School.

This exciting new role will build on the existing strong relationships with our alumnae, current parents, former parents and other friends and will support the Director of Development in launching a new development plan to support the School's strategic vision.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Applicants will have proven success in fundraising and relationship management, and ideally will have some experience of the Independent School Sector.

They will have initiative, imagination and the ability to carry responsibility and to manage a range of competing demands.

In addition, the successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be a strong team player.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential with the need for some evening and weekend working as required.
