The company

Our client is a premium supplier of fenestration products industry based in South Yorkshire.

Their forward thinking mentality and potential for further growth has created another exciting opportunity for an energetic sales professional to join the experienced team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for seeking out new opportunities and building relationships within the D.I.Y.

and Builders' Merchant Sector .

The position will offer a suitable individual the opportunity to grow and develop as part of the company's senior team for the future.

The Role

Ideally from a p.v.c door and window background you will have demonstrable experience in nurturing a client base and impeccable customer care .

You will be familiar with target customers and have the self-organisation skills, the ability to listen to you customer and deliver their requirements, and personal gravitas to be the company's face in the industry.

Responsibilities

Contacting new potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

Planning and overseeing new product and marketing initiatives.

Researching the market to find new opportunities.

Increasing the value of customers while attracting new ones.

Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

Attending conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.

Developing quotes with the Estimating team and presenting proposals for clients.

Working with key personnel to ensure that the team meet their goals

Location - location is not key as thus is a field based role but meetings will be held on a regular basis at head office in South Yorkshire
