Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer - Cambridge

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 p.a.

The Company

Our well established client is looking to appoint a Technical Support Engineer to support the team with producing exceptional documentation, internal training, support platform maintaining and post-Sales support on all aspects of the technology and product range.

The Role

You will work closely with the Product Management and R&D Team to ensure all the features designed and implemented are to the best interest of end users

Testing Team to undertake customer focused testing of all new software releases and prioritize defects

Monitor and maintain the support platform (Service Cloud) so they run smoothly

Manage license issuing system (Flexera) and make sure licenses sold or issued match with contracts/ PoC agreements

Deploy or tune our web-based product remotely or on-site in customers cloud environment

Creation of internal and external training materials

Creation of sales collateral (projects, slides, videos) in conjunction with Marketing and Sales Engineer

Key Skills & Attributes

Degree level education in Telecommunication Engineering or Computing Science is preferred (or equivalent qualification/experience)

Considerable experience in planning, designing and optimizing in-building wireless networks

Experience in OSS in the Telecommunications industry

Effective communication and presentation skills

Experience using Service Cloud

Excellent verbal and written communication skill

A driven team player with the ability to take ownership when required

Comfortable working under pressure and in an environment of changing priorities
