Chef de Partie

This Norfolk Restaurant with Rooms is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team.
Our Clients menu offers modern brasserie food, using only quality fresh ingredients and takes advantage of produce and ingredients from within the local area.

The cosy Bar/Lounge area serves daytime light bites, afternoon teas and evening meals.

They also have a number of private rooms available for meetings and conferences, private dinners, parties and weddings.
As Chef de Partie your role will be to share your knowledge and passion for cooking with your team whilst creating dishes and cuisine to high standards using fresh, seasonal, local produce and ingredients for guests and customers to enjoy.
Main Duties of this Chef de Partie opportunity are:

? Plan and oversee the running of your section
? Follow and comply with all health and hygiene standards
? Supervise and help lead jnr chefs
? Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen section
? Participate in food production
? Conduct daily food line inspections in section to ensure quality is maintained

Requirements for this Chef de Partie role are:

? Ideally NVQ levels 1&2
? Experience working in a high end or AA Rosette establishment
? Hotel and/or Restaurant background
? Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
? Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
