Solicitor / Senior Solicitor / Associate - Litigation / Insurance & Risk, Edinburgh & Aberdeen

Senior Solicitor / Associate (Professional Indemnity) - Edinburgh
Solicitor/Senior Solicitor/Associate (Shipping & Marine) - Based in Aberdeen but with flexibility across our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

To act for a primarily insurance client base defending claims against professionals.

Acting mainly for insurer clients, you will be representing a broad suite of professionals from lawyers to engineers; architects to hydrologists; and accountants to wedding photographers! As well as dealing directly with smaller practices including face to face contact with clients, the role includes dealing with some of the largest professional practice and litigated claims in Scotland as part of the wider team.

You will have direct partner contact in a flexible and open team.

As well as representing professionals in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session, we are enthusiastic about ADR, settling many cases through negotiation or more formal ADR such as mediation
