Patient Hoist & Hospital Bed Engineer - Dartford

The successful candidate will be required to undertake on-site service maintenance activities on a range of own brand products and other associated third party products providing an optimum level of support to both the Company and the customer base for the designated site.

- To undertake a high standard of product cleaning, service and repair activities on the range of own brand products and other associated third party products in a designated area of the UK.

- To assist, when required, with installation activity on any site within or beyond the boundaries of the designated site.

- Will actively undertake and take day to day responsibility for any technical training on sites as allocated by the Contracts Manager and include any identified skills development into a deliverable time bound program.

- To ensure that good relationships are maintained with all customers and other contacts, that an effective service and maintenance function is provided and to ensure that problems occurring are resolved promptly in the interests of the Company.

- To prioritize Warranty and Contract breakdowns over routine service calls to maintain the reputation of the company.

- To ensure detailed and accurate reporting of all service activities completing all relevant paperwork/electronic forms clearly and concisely and on time.

Where applicable, maintaining copies for possible future retrieval.

- To compile and maintain a suitable record system for customer information, administrative records etc.

to ensure efficient running of the sites maintaining progress reports on service activities.

- To maintain an up to date knowledge of company and other associated products, including third party equipment, service methodologies and techniques.

- To perform all the previously described responsibilities in a manner consistent with;
- company policies
- company quality manual and objectives
- departmental and business procedures
- any other company policy or quality documents deemed applicable by the Senior management team

A competitive salary will be paid, Company vehicle, Mobile phone, Specialist tools, Uniform will all be provided.

Candidates will be required to work on a 1 in 4 on call rota which will operate from 5pm - 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday.

On call will receive additional payment and any hours worked above the weekly 40 hours will be paid at time and a half.
