Women's Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.

Over the past 45 years, Women's Aid has been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse through practice, research and policy.

We are a federation of nearly 180 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across the country.

Together with our members, we seek to empower survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of our work.

Women's Aid is seeking an inspirational feminist leader to help implement our ambitious vision.

Supported by a director and a strong management team, you will lead this strongly routed charity into its fifth decade as the leading authority on domestic abuse.

You will have experience in a leadership role where you've worked to build strong, diverse teams around a cause or social issue, and to boost an organisation's reputation and influence.

We are seeking a committed feminist, with a strong anti-racist and intersectional approach.

You'll be a strategic thinker, good at critical reflection for yourself and the organisation and able to use your business confidence to ensure the long-term stability of the organisation.

You will have experiencing of working in collaboration with stakeholders to make lasting change, with an honest and transparent approach.

You will lead on an ambitious strategic vision for Women's Aid and support our campaigning and fundraising work through your strong networking and relationship building skills.

You will also take time to support our members building excellent relationships with and advocating on behalf of them.
