Our client, a software house specialising in the development of corporate intranet, extranet and portal solutions, are looking to expand the sales team by recruiting an Account Manager (Intranet Success Manager) as part of their Intranet Success Team based at their Newbury offices.

The Account Manager looks after a number of clients with a view to renew existing contracts and sell value added services, products and consultancy.

The key to this role is to build new avenues of revenue and profit for the company.

The current client base consists of over 150 customers across a wide variety of vertical markets including Legal, Retail, Healthcare, Housing Associations and Charities.

Clients range in size from large corporates to small localised organisations.

Responsibilities and Duties

? Own, maintain and develop client relationships
? Strategic account development.

Finding new contacts and ultimately more sales into those areas of the business
? Forecasting.

Using salesforce and working with new business sales to keep this data up to date
? Delivery of webinars and relevant marketing blogs
? Review of Intranet success team records
? Planning and delivery of client presentations at conferences
? Close cooperation with Intranet success Team staff with planning, resources, preparing and scheduling of activities
? Work in close partnership with the Intranet Success Executive to maximise sales and opportunities with clear synergy and one voice
? Assist new business if required in relation to case studies and references, and or events


The successful applicant will be self-motivated and must be comfortable with generating leads through telemarketing/telesales/Account Management activities and able to close business.

A good telephone manner is essential.

The role is initially mainly office based but could lead to onsite, and could suit s
