Pastry Chef

This popular Cotswold Hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef to join their friendly kitchen brigade.
This is a busy property with 15+ bedrooms, including a gastro bar, courtyard/terrac, and a 2AA rosette restaurant.
Afternoon tea is popular at the hotel which is all made freshly in house.

As Pastry Chef you must have passion, flair and an eye for detail.
You will be in charge of the pastry section within the team and report to the Sous and Head Chef.

A minimum of 4 years rosette experience in a similar position would be advantageous.
You will be required to work split shifts and work 1 breakfast shift per week.

Requirements for this Pastry Chef opportunity are:

? NVQ 2 and 3 within Pastry and Food Hygiene Certification
? Previous experience of cooking with fresh and seasonal ingredients
? A strong Restaurant or Hotel background working as a Pastry Chef
? Must have a stable CV showing dedication with good references
? Excellent Communication and Organisation skills
? Ability to work well under pressure
? A real passion for food and attention to detail
? A desire to lean, progress and develop
