Salary- £50 - £70 k

The Role

Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the review of existing contracts/ drafting of new contracts to ensure the business is suitably protected from a legal standpoint and is able to extract full commercial value from a commercial standpoint.

The role will also be responsible for the tracking of internal projects to highlight any variances and to ensure the required returns are delivered.

The role is a pivotal role in partnering with key stakeholders within the business, the business' wider team of professional advisors and key customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial:

? Own, administer & represent the company on commercial & contractual issues.
? Derive, develop and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, partners and employees on ITS' behalf (supported by professional advisors).
? Liaise with the customer, their representatives and other 3rd parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies.
? Provide detailed advice on contract conditions, undertake tender scrutiny, identification of issues that require legal advice, and manage the resolution of contractual issues.
? Undertake regular cross-business contractual reviews; Identify and resolve unacceptable wording/terms/concepts in bonds, warranties, contractual commitments, guarantees and other business contractual terms and conditions.

Manage the recording and submission of claims; Formulation of detailed arguments in respect of such issues and make representation to the relevant parties


Project Management / Investment Portfolio:

? Cost and value management for all projects, ensuring implementation of appropriate systems and procedures.
