Business Analysis Expert (Oracle ERP)





To ensure SC's Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization systems, as well as, respective data integrity activities are in line with respective business processes while providing high availability standards to end users related to SC Procurement & Contracts functions.


ERP Application




  • Accountable and responsible for day-to-day local IT supports in the domain of Business Applications - Oracle ERP - in order to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness of the same.




  • Update and amend module functionality to ensure that Oracle ERP is able to meet user information requirements on an on-going basis and that respective modules continue to reflect business processes.




  • Participate in technical designs, prototyping, configuration, system, and necessary testing of the Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization module in order to ensure alignment of the same with the respective business processes.




ERP Basis and Authorization Procurement Process




  • Provide input during the Basis and Authorization of Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization resources from a technical aspect whilst adhering to SC's policies to ensure uninterrupted delivery of quality goods and/or services in a cost-effective manner.




  • Contribute towards the interpretation of the technical aspect during the Basis and Authorization process with Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization service providers through the request for proposal developments or competition invitation documents, as need be, in order to remain abreast with SC's needs.




  • Provide input during the search, initiation of contact and shortlisting process of Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization service providers from a technical standpoint in order to gain an in-depth understanding of their respective delivery capabilities.




ERP Systems Performance and Monitoring



  • Plan and incorporate the process of Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization activities onto current systems so as to ensure seamless integration.

  • Proactively monitor and assist in the support of the respective module architecture environments in order to ensure efficient troubleshooting and tuning of the system at the Oracle ERP and database levels.






ERP Systems Integrity and Security




  • Plan, execute, and implement Oracle ERP systems and data integrity-related activities in order to safeguard SC's information and ensure high availability standards are preserved.




  • Plan, execute and implement SC's Oracle ERP related governance, risk and compliance activities so as to ensure full compliance by SC's mandated policies & procedures.




Managing User Requirements







  • Align Oracle ERP Basis and Authorization solutions with business requirements in order to draw on existing applications and/or set effective and cost-efficient alternative routes.

  • Act as the focal point for end-users support in the area of Oracle ERP Basis and Authorize on in order to ensure op: mal opera: on's efficiency.



Qualifications, experience, and skills:


Education and certifications




  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering




  • Relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory




Experience and skills



  • Minimum 8 years in providing IT Business Solutions with working knowledge in IT projects management




  • Robust knowledge of Oracle ERP respective functional module theory and protocols




  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP modules like HR & Payroll, Finance, and Procurement




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.




  • Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.




  • Experience of working in the region and knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit.




  • High attention to detail and accuracy.




  • Flexibility and a related ability to work autonomously.




  • A team player willing to work on tight timelines and pitch in when needed.
