Head of Nursing

Head of Nursing - Maidenhead

Salary: £55,750.50 - £62,770.50 per annum DOE

The Company

Our established CAMHs Hospital based in Maidenhead are looking for an experienced Head of Nursing to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

To work with the multi-disciplinary leadership team in developing and delivering the highest quality to patients and their families.

Lead and manage the nursing and care staff to ensure patients receive care that is safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led.

Candidate who have experience as a head of nursing and head of quality will be considered.

-Salary to take on both roles of Head of Nursing/Quality is £62,770.50 - £66,612 per annum

Responsibilities:

? To promote a culture of openness and responsiveness, a philosophy of person-centred care and recovery, and an ethos of positive learning from incident within a high performing service.
? To be able to balance the philosophy with a passion for co-ordinating and leading patient safety.
? Working with the Nursing staff the post-holder will be responsible for leading and advancing clinical practice in the hospital.
? In partnership with the Hospital Director and Ward Managers/Clinical Ward Managers/Charge Nurses/Lead Nurses/ lead on the development and on-going review of ward staffing models and that wards are appropriately staffed.
? Oversee adherence to the Hospitals Incident Management Policy, including the Management of Serious Incidents, and embedding learning from incidents.
? Oversee compliance with audits, the site risk register and ensure escalation to the corporate risk register as appropriate.
? Provide specialist advice, guidance and support to the Hospital Director, Ward Managers/Clinical Ward Managers/Charge Nurses/Lead Nurses/, Senior Management Team, and other staff on patient safety issues that affect the hospital, its employees and others using the facilities.
