Our client is a market leading designer and manufacturer of environmental sensors based in Surrey UK, offering a variety of solutions to the green shipping, marine science, water quality, agriculture and defence sectors.

They are now looking for a talented Project Manager to join its R&D team in the design and development of underwater products and defence projects.

Key responsibilities

? Deliver custom Projects on time, on budget and to specification ensuring Projects are properly planned, resourced and executed, assisting with NRE estimations, monitoring costs against the project plan and raising any deviations with Senior Management.
? For internal projects, assist with Project justification by gathering and reviewing preliminary information for the development collected from various internal and external stakeholders.
? Create, maintain and share a project plan that documents key milestones, tasks and processes throughout the development that lead to delivery of the correct equipment on time and on budget.
? Ensure that comprehensive, reviewed project specifications and designs are produced that identify and document the functional requirements and performance characteristics of the system, using expert resources across the company where appropriate.
? Develop functional, environmental and Production test procedures to validate the integrated hardware/firmware/software elements and deliverable configured systems with documented results.
