Registered Manager - Children's Home

Registered Manager - Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire

Salary: £32,000 to £40,000per annum (depending on experience)

The Company

Our well established client is a Childrens Care Home provider.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager who will be managing one of their homes.

They are also looking to recruit a very experienced registered manager who could take on a "Dual" role whereby they would be managing two of their homes.

The Role

Your role will include working corporately, collaboratively and in keeping with the ethos and values of the children's Care Company and management team.

To ensure that the Home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose.

To safeguard and promote the welfare of children and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with the Children Homes Regulations and the Quality Standards.

Responsibilities:

? Manage the day to day running of the childrens home
? Ensuring the highest quality of care are delivered at all times
? Managing your team and homes budgets
? Ensuring that all current legislation is met and exceeded
? Develop and maintain key relationships with children, staff parents and professionals.
? Be aware and safeguard young peoples emotional and physical wellbeing
? Lead the home through all Ofsted inspections
? To establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels.


? To ensure that the Home's policies and procedures are adhered to and that resources are managed effectively.


? To provide leadership, guidance and management to the other staff.
? To be responsible for the deployment and control of staff on a day-today basis, including reporting of issues of performance to line management.


? To be involved in the recruitment, monitoring, training, retention and mentoring as necessary.
? To develop systems for the efficient admini
