A&E IDVA (Independent domestic violence advocate)
Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.
Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions.
All services are client and needs led.
We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Domestic Abuse Team.
Job Title: A&E IDVA (Independent domestic violence advocate)
Positions: 1 full time position available.
Contract Length: 6 months contract/secondment
Salary: £19,968 - £21,936

We are looking for an A&E IDVA to join the Domestic Abuse team in Sandwell.
The successful candidate will be working within BCWA's A&E project which aims to improve responses to victims of domestic abuse and other interpersonal violence attending Accident & Emergency Services in Sandwell.
You will be required to provide a high-quality service to victims of domestic abuse and other interpersonal violence (rape and sexual violence, child sexual exploitation, honour based violence, forced marriage and FGM) accessing Accident & Emergency Services.
To provide advice and support at point of crisis and make appropriate safeguarding and ongoing & onward support referrals, someone who has experience of case management including, risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning
