The Role

To lead, manage, develop, and be accountable for the faculty team and the curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well- being in accordance with the aims of the Academy and the curricular policies.

Provide professional support and guidance to colleagues, including modelling effective strategies; e.g.

behaviour management, teaching and learning and ensure staff are informed and up to date in their work.

To offer all children an effective education in a stimulating environment, which provides equality of opportunity for all.

Essential Skills & Requirements

? Degree or equivalent

? Qualified teacher status

? Evidence of and commitment to continuing professional development

? Successful Academy teaching experience with experience of teaching across the age and ability range

? Teach using an increasingly wide range of teaching strategies to meet diff
