Residential Senior HCA Nights (Healthcare Assistant) - Ormskirk

Salary: Up to £9.50/hour including attendance bonus on week days & £9.75/hour including attendance bonus on week-ends, both with unpaid breaks

24-48 hours/week

Our client is a family owned business established for almost 30 years.

They own and operate seven quality nursing and residential care homes on five sites, in Merseyside and Lancashire.

Their residents are able to retain their own individuality in the atmosphere of a home from home.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior HCA (Healthcare Assistant) Nights in Ormskirk

? (2 years+) domiciliary care, nursing or residential care for the elderly experience in a care home & medication dispensing experience Residential care for the elderly in a care home experience
? Medication dispensing experience
? Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group
? Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
? Team player
? Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
? Satisfactory enhanced CRB Disclosure, Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)


Roles and Responsibilities

Care:

? Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Clients, when required, with all aspects of daily living
? Support training and supervision of junior and new Staff Members in all aspects of their work in the Care Home, under the supervision of senior Staff Members.
? Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g.

physical, emotional and spiritual).

Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Clients retain their comfort and dignity.
? Pay particular attention to assisting Clients who have limited mobility, or physical difficulties making the best use of aids provided.
