Warehouse Technician - Erith

Salary £17K - £19K Dependent on experience.

Hours 7am until 4pm 5 days a week.

URGENT REQUIREMENT.

Must be available immediately

My client based in Erith is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join the team and carry out cylinder paint preparation works.

Must speak English, Must be physically fit due to the requirements of the role, Must be keen and want to learn new skills and Must be reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

To locate, and transport cylinders from storage areas and transport them to work station.

To prepare cylinders and valves for inspection.

Paint cylinders.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with customer requirements.

Ensure all work is inspected and released in accordance with the customer requirements and company standards.

Ensure all issues are reported to the department Senior Technician/Workshop Manager immediately.

Aid with the improvement of efficiency within the department and create a team ethos.

Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

Ensure work is prioritised affectively.

Ensure good housekeeping within the area.

Adhere to the health and safety standards at all times.

Personal Attributes:

4 GCSE's or equivalent

Basic knowledge of engineering or experience working in a similar role.

Excellent communication and literacy skills

Able to safely undertake physically demanding activities throughout the course of the day.

Able to competently and safely use a counterbalance forklift truck.

(training can be provided)

Ability to work as a team or autonomously
