RGN Nurse - Term time only - Private Boarding School - Berkshire

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 (full-time) + benefits

Our client is a small boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 years.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Our client is looking for an RGN Nurse based at their location in the Ascot area of Berkshire.

The ideal candidate will be a specialist within this field and will have most if not all of the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

Start Date: January 2021 or earlier

? RSCN, RN-child, or RGN with relevant experience (i.e.

A&E, School nursing, Practice nursing)
? Full clean driving license would be beneficial
? Experience in either school nursing experience
? A&E experience
? Paediatric nursing experience, or experience in adolescent health
? Minimum 3yrs post registration
? Good working knowledge of Child Protection issues.

(Training will be provided on appointment if a refresher course is necessary)
? The ability to demonstrate an understanding of school protocols and policies and a full acceptance of the need for compliance
? Ability to work independently without medical back up on site:
? Computer literate.

The medical centre Typically uses Word and Excel and SIMS and SHM databases
? Medically fit and able
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and essential for liaison with all members of staff across the Whole School
? Confident and calm when dealing with a range of accidents and first aid issues


Roles & Responsibilities

You will be joining a team consisting of a Senior Sister, a part-time Registered General Nurse and a bank nurse.

To provide medical care to the School's boarders and first aid care to all members of School staff and to provide services and care commensurate with the role.
