Mobility Therapist (qualified and experienced) - East London

Salary: Equivalent to NHS Band 6/7 + benefits

Our client is a national disabled childrens charity that aims to transform the lives of young disabled people by providing the vital equipment, support and life skills they need, when they need them, giving them the chance to develop their full potential.

They are now on the lookout for a suitability qualified and experienced Mobility Therapist join their team in East London

Essential Skills and Experience:

Our client require a motivated, flexible and passionate individual, ideally with previous experience in the field, or otherwise keen to transfer their clinical skills and knowledge into a new setting who has the following skills and experience:

? Qualified and experienced Mobility Therapist
? Previous wheelchair service experience is not required, but clinical experience in either neurology, paediatrics or community work would allow you to utilise transferable skills.
? Development of knowledge in the equipment used will be well supported by the senior clinical and engineering team.

A position with the team offers an opportunity to develop your clinical skills in all areas of postural and mobility assessments, and related equipment prescription.
? Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the effective management of a delegated caseload.
? A flexible but organised approach is required to meet the varied needs of all children and adults referred to the Tower Hamlets wheelchair service.
