Performance Manager

Job Title: Performance Manager
Salary range: £40,461 - £45,536 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: 36.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent


Who we need


We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Manager role in our Productivity and Skills Directorate.

We are looking for a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail to lead the performance management and contract management across the Adult Education Budget delivered across the West Midlands.


You will be responsible for leading the performance management of the provider base of the adult education programmes, managing contract arrangements including growth and underperformance and managing overall performance monitoring arrangements.

The successful candidate will build and maintain excellent relationships with local and national stakeholders.

In addition, you will support policy development and highlight and report on programme risks.


Utilising strong interpersonal skills, you will be confident in communicating with key partners to help refine their delivery and performance.

The role will give you the opportunity to work in a fast moving team across a range of exciting projects that will deliver real change to local people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within the adult education sector and awareness of AEB data returns.

In addition, you will need to have good analytical skills, with the ability to monitor information and identify areas of improvement.

The Productivity and Skills team are focused on inclusive growth - more local jobs and more local people benefitting from jobs.

To do this, we work closely with the region's universities, colleges and training providers and also employers so that the training matches their skills needs.
