Rate of Pay: £24,413 - £27,456 per annum

Warwick Students' Union is looking to recruit a Decolonise Programme Manager.

This role forms an integral part of the SU team, co-ordinating an exciting project that advances a more balanced decolonised curriculum for all students.

You will work with closely with student advocates, Academic staff, the Education Officer and other Full Time and Liberation Officers ensuring that students remain as the focal point of what we do.


Salary: from £24,413 to £27,456 per annum, plus excellent holidays and contributory pension scheme

To help champion and empower our students in their academic lives, we are recruiting a Decolonise Programme Manager to act as a champion for the Decolonise Programme, student voice, diversity and equal opportunities.

We want to enable students to have the highest quality academic experience and your role will be to make that a reality.


You will join the Decolonising the Curriculum Programme at an exciting time building on work carried out by previous coordinators and student advocates.

This is an opportunity to further develop parameters of the programme ensuring that more departments and curricula are covered.

Who you are:


As the Manager of the Decolonising the Curriculum Programme, you will help to build positive and effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, from students through to academic staff, contributing to formation of sustainable partnerships between the University and Students' Union.

You will oversee the delivery of the Decolonisation Project.


You need to have a positive attitude and the ability to build a rapport with a range of people.

With an eagerness to engage with students and improve their experience, you should have robust communication skills, the ability to prioritise and organise your time effectively, and work productively within a close team.
