Senior Electronic Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join one of the UK's leading technology companies who work in a wide range of technologies and industries.

The work is largely driven by technical development and innovation and no two projects are the same.

You will possess the experience necessary to play a key role in architecting and designing new systems and products and the work will require an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals underlying the real-world engineering of systems that will usually have a basis in radio.

Experience of modern radio communications and radar systems is highly desirable.

In this role you will be distilling client requirements into appropriate feasibility studies and systems-level analysis activities.

In addition to the technical skills necessary, you will be comfortable explaining complex technical matters to non-technical customers.

These initial activities will be followed by the generation of prototype system block diagrams and module specifications, leading to specific work packages that will be shared across the design team.

The role provides the opportunity to use your technical leadership skills to work with a team to follow exciting new ideas through from concept into reality.
