Data Business Analyst - Business Analyst - Fixed term

Business Analyst - Data Business Analyst - Data Management Business Analyst - Master Data Business Analyst - Big Data Business Analyst is required by my client based close to Poole, Dorset to join a project team who are responsible for analysing, specifying and validating the business needs for my clients Data Programme.

This role is paying up to c£40,000 + Ben's and is a FIXED TERM ROLE - Until 31st Dec 2021.

The key responsibilities for the Business Analyst - Data Business Analyst - Data Management Business Analyst are to:

• Working closely with project teams to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels through the conduct of methodical investigations for business requirement specifications


• Preparing business cases which define potential benefits and options for adding value to the organisation, achieving these benefits through the development of new or changed processes


• Profiling Data sets to aid in the requirements process and solution design


• Utilise and promote the use of Continuous Improvement (CI) Principles to prepare and deliver specifications, recommendations, or alternatives for improving business, operations and information process flows


• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team and develop prototypes of interfaces, capture/define business rules and new or revised processes based on the user requirements.

I am looking for a Business Analyst - Data Business Analyst who has the following experience:

• Strong Business Analysis skills - working with Data


• Recognised Business Analysis certification


• Understanding the use of data, data analysis to improve business decisioning.


• Proven experience with business, data and technical requirements analysis, modelling, verification, and methodology development


• Extensive experience with large organisations core business processes, operations and software applications, eg: ERP, CRM, and Marketing Systems, data warehouses, data marts, Enterprise Data stores


• Developing TSQL to analyse data and data quality issues

• Experience of identifying, investigating data quality issues and define potential solutions working with other technical resources and the business Experience of tracking data linage and data journeys


• Working in an Agile, Kanban and waterfall environment


• Experience and understanding of GDPR and Direct Marketing Guidelines


• Testing Data Solutions

My client is based in modern offices close to Poole, Dorset and is looking to reward this Data Business Analyst a salary up to c£40,000 per annum + good excellent Pension scheme and Benefits.
